Q: What is Manual Therapy?

Manual therapy is a hands-on therapeutic approach distinct from traditional massage. It focuses on targeted techniques to address specific musculoskeletal and neurological issues, improve mobility, and reduce pain. A few examples of my methods include, Manual Ligament Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Mobilization, and Dynamic Stretching.

Q: What should I wear for my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Please avoid wearing jeans, dresses, or skirts, as they may restrict mobility during treatment.

Q: How long are the appointments?

  • Initial manual therapy sessions are approximately 90 minutes.

  • Follow-up sessions are available in 60 or 30 minute options.

  • Sole Support Orthotic castings take about 15 minutes.

  • Orthotic fittings are around 30 minutes.

  • Standard Process Supplements consultations are brief (about 5 minutes) and conducted via video conference.

Q: Is insurance accepted?

IRT is a time of service clinic. This means payment is provided the day of your appointment. Cash, HSA / Credit / Debit cards are accepted. A Superbill can be provided to submit to your insurance company. Depending on your out of network benefits, the insurance company may reimburse you directly.

Q: Do I need to have a consultation before I can order Standard Process Whole Food Supplements?

Yes. A consultation with our ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner), authorized by Standard Process, is required before you can order any Standard Process or MediHerb supplements. This ensures the products are safe for you and do not adversely interact with any current medications or supplements. Once approved, you’ll receive a personalized code for ordering through the Patient Direct portal.
